Lakeside Housing

A graduate community housing complex for Princeton University.

Designed with Studio Ma in 2012, Princeton Lakeside Graduate Community is a 329-unit residential facility nestled into a lushly wooded and ecologically sensitive site. Playful and varied building forms separated by gardens and breezeways break up complex into smaller micro-communities, while a contemporary vernacular aesthetic remixes brick and shingle patterns to create visual interest and emphasize the human scale of the units.
