K-box

K-box is a prefabricated housing solution designed to allow humans to elegantly inhabit any terrain, from the back-yard to the back-country.

Designed and prototyped for Kaiserworks in 2017, K-box is a family of plug-and-play smart-homes. The project aims to remove the limitations on quality and location imposed by traditional construction, re-imagining building as a large-scale product manufacturing process. The result is housing that can be manufactured with greater precision and lower cost compared to site-built structures. And because K-box arrives fully formed, it can be placed on almost any site, from the most challenging to the most inspiring.
